Lemnos

Lemnos is the eighth largest island in Greece

Turkish Gialos

Located within the city. A breath away from the castle, from the market, from the cafes. Next to the port of Myrina, there is the beach that is known as Turkish Gialos, like the district of the city. A beautiful sandy beach, and the waters clear and shallow, ready to accommodate you and your family. On the coast you will find umbrellas to protect yourself from the sun and you will be able to enjoy your favorite coffee next to the waves.

Romeikos Gialos

A Movie set. A period drama, with all the neoclassics in rows, looking like they are competing in beauty and architecture. Here, at Romeikos Gialos, you do not know what to look at first. The erotic and yet charming sea, or the beautiful architectures of another era? An era, that we recall through narratives. In the shadow of the castle of Myrina, on the north side and under the umbrellas, you will ease your mind, you will rest, you will cool off. The local cafes and restaurants await you …

Aulonas

Take walks. Enjoy the warm sand. The serene waters, when the wind is north. Beach Aulonas. The first bay away from Myrina, if you move north, goes by the name Aulonas. Here, you will be able to use sun loungers and enjoy drinks and coffees from the beach bar. If you are a fan of water sports, you’re in luck there are those too! On the southern side, the 3 volcanic deserted islands are ideal for snorkeling.

Agios Ioannis Kaspakas

A miniature version of Meteora, with a sandy beach and shallow waters, is the beach of Agios Ioannis Kaspakas. 8 km north of Myrina, you will be able to enjoy the shallow and crystal clear waters on a fully organized beach. It is worth noting that in 2013 the beach was awarded a blue flag.

Prassa

The “port” of Kaspakas, the beautiful little beach of Prassa will enchant you. It is located next to the most famous beach, that of Agios Ioannis, but it attracts fewer people. In the centre of the beach you can find umbrellas and sun loungers.

Gomati

Thin sandy beach, shallow waters! In the northern part of the beach a small island just a few meters from the coast creates a unique picture. When it’s windy, it’s one of the best beaches to surf. And if you do not know … then you can watch others who know or train! During a break from your dives, it is worth climbing the sand dunes, the so-called Sahara of Lemnos. It is only a few meters from the beach and it is worth the climb.

PAPIA

You’ll be alone! You will swim. You will be free. You will enjoy clear waters, sun and absolute tranquility. Papia, near the settlements of Dafni and Katalakos, is not visited by many. The fine sandy beach, however, is particularly welcoming for anyone who decides to pay a visit. In the middle of the beach, there is a gazebo where you can leave your belongings.

Saint Ermolaos

With the crystal clear waters and sand, but also the sweet feeling that leaves everything exploration, Ermolaos will reward you!

Kotsinas

The shallow clear waters, the sandy beach, and easy access make this particular beach very popular on the island. Many families choose it for their baths and there are also the surfers who test their strength in a relatively easy field. There are beach umbrellas and sun loungers, while the beach bar operating at the spot will cool you down with whatever you choose.

Makrus Gialos (polioxni)

An endless beach, as its name suggests. It will impress you, not only for its waters and the sandy beach, but also for its location. Makrus gialos, is right next to Poliochni’s archaeological site, which takes your visit to the beach on a whole other level.

Parthenomitos

Exotic. Here you will enjoy summer. Holidays. Something really special. All thoughts will drift away and you will calm down. Collect memories, recharge your batteries. Parthenomytos beach is by all accounts, one of the most beautiful on the island.

Small Fanaraki

A very small cove, with the sandy beach not exceeding 50 m in length, is a meeting point for many holidaymakers and especially young people. On the beach you can find umbrellas and sunbeds. Get ready for a beach party… On one side of the beach there is Fokia’s cave.

Diapori

This is not an organized beach. It is sandy and has deep waters. Within a short distance from the beach, there are some taverns.

Thanos

South of Thanos, is the homonymous beach. It is an organized, sandy beach and gives the visitor beautiful moments of relaxation. In 2013 the beach was awarded with a blue flag, and it is located in an area that has significant tourist development.
